Independent Locksmith Covering Morecambe

I’m an independent locksmith based in Ingleton giving me easy access to areas such as Heysham Lancaster and nearby towns and villages. Not only does this mean that you get a fast response (typically within 30-60 minutes) but it also means that you’re helping to support a local business rather than a large company or franchise that has no interest in the local community.

Lots of people have come across posts on social media or have seen current affairs programs exposing extortionate fees charged by some emergency locksmiths. Let me put your mind at rest, these are rogue locksmiths, most of which get their work from call centres so they don’t have to divulge their actual details to the customer or victim.

LT Locksmiths are an independent local locksmith serving Heysham and surrounding area. We do not hide behind a call centre or franchise name, our details, phone number, email etc are our own and you can call us anytime on 07969 288 538.

Our fees are designed to be affordable and transparent and most jobs can be accurately quoted over the phone there and then, meaning no surprises when you're invoiced at the end.

Our emergency response time around Morecambe is typically between 30-60 minutes dependent on time of day, traffic etc. If the job is not an emergency, then we can come at a time that suits you and your schedule

Yes.. I have full public liability insurance and the parts I fit are also guaranteed. I'm also DBS checked (formerly known as a CRB check)

Yes.. I regularly carry out work for commercial clients including landlords, property developers, small business owners and even large corporations.

I am a fully qualified and professionally trained. I hold the Ofqual Level 3 Diploma in Commercial Locksmiths & Property Security.

Ofqual stands for Office of Qualifications and Examinations Regulation and is the government department that regulates qualifications, exams and tests in England. The Ofqual qualifications are the only locksmith and auto locksmith qualifications approved and regulated by the UK Government.

Non destructive entry means gaining access through a locked door or vehicle by way of lock picking or bypassing the lock without doing any physical damage to the lock or the door.

If your lock is one of the standard rim cylinder types (Euro Cylinder/Yale) then in most cases entry can be gained very quickly, sometimes within minutes. More complex locks such as deadlocks can take longer due to their characteristically secure nature.

I'm a local independent locksmith based in the area and not a national company, franchise or call centre, meaning that when you call you speak to the locksmith and business owner who can give accurate costings and time frames.

Because I live local, I can typically respond to emergencies within 30-60 minutes.

I am on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and all our work comes complete with a guarantee.
